Hakima FASSI FIHRI

Skills Development Senior Associate

Hakima Fassi Fihri is a legal scholar by training and an expert in education, training, and international academic cooperation. For over 25 years, she has navigated the worlds of law, academic collaboration, diplomacy, and institutional leadership with a clear compass: contributing to projects that matter—those that empower youth, connect cultures, and generate meaningful human impact. A graduate in Law from Mohammed V University in Rabat and the Université Grenoble-Alpes (Master’s), Hakima began her career at leading international law firms (August & Debouzy, Norton Rose) before turning to higher education, driven by the conviction that education and training are powerful levers for human development. At the International University of Rabat (UIR), she served from 2011 to 2019 as Director of International Relations and Partnerships while also sitting on the University’s Executive Board. From 2020 to 2025, she coordinated the European project 4EU+ Alliance – European University at Sorbonne University, a major EU-funded strategic collaboration bringing together eight leading universities (Sorbonne University, Milan, Warsaw, Copenhagen, Heidelberg, Geneva, and Charles University in Prague). She is also a certified facilitator of the LEGO® SERIOUS PLAY® method—an innovative “problem-solving” approach designed to foster creativity and accelerate concrete solutions within organizations. She contributes with her expertise and international network to continue building bridges across disciplines, cultures, and people. Fluent in Arabic, French, English, and Spanish, she embodies a truly global perspective.
